Create an Account for Members' Area

The BU3A Members' Area is a password protected website for the exclusive use of BU3A members. The Members' Area will contain forums and allow members to exchange a whole range of information in an informal way.  Members will also know that only other members of Barnet U3A have access to this site. To access the Members' Area you will need to create an account.

Please note that the form that enables you to create a  membership account for the Members' Area can be confusing. To correctly fill in the form you need to:
  1. Enter your Name e.g Santa Claus
  2. The email address that you use to receive BU3A weekly Mass Emails
  3. A password. Create a new one for this service. Do not use the password you use to access your email account
  4. Retype the password
  5. Unclick the check box  Join the mailing list for this group. You must unclick this box otherwise you will not be able to open an account
  6. Tick the check box  I have read and agree to the terms of use
  7. Click Join Group
The system then sends you an  email to verify that you actually do own the email address you entered in the form. So next you need to go to your email, open the email from barnetu3a, and click the link within the email.
All done!

Please click here to create an account Create an account for Members' Area

When you have created an account you can access the site here Members' Area

To help you create an account have a look at this video on Youtube Create a Members' Area Account video - the video has an audio commentary so switch on your speakers if you have them

When you looking at a Youtube video  it is well worth viewing either in Expanded view or Full Screen. Look for these two symbols. The first expands the view, the second shows video in full screen

If you have problems creating an account send me an email by clicking this link  Members' Area Problem and let me know what the problem is.
